Overview

Summary: As the Human Resources On-Site Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to support our production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You provide support and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of Human Resources for all Team Members. Other responsibilities include Team Member Relations, Recruitment, Health and Safety, Time and Attendance, and other administrative tasks as required. Previous experience in a human resources environment within a manufacturing plant or warehouse is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Actively work as a liaison between Manufacturing, Team Members, and Talent and Development.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Leaders and Team Members by having an active presence (70%) on the plant floor to drive T&D programs, processes, and policies to continuously enhance working relationships, build engagement, and increase retention.
  • Oversee all agency communications, and assist Site Leaders, Operations Leaders, Shift Leaders, and Team Leaders with Team Member relations.
  • Foster the FGF culture and promote Team Member Engagement.
  • Manage the engagement committee and develop proposals for engagement activities.
  • Communicate FGF policies, protocols, and new initiatives to agencies.
  • Review resumes and coordinate interviews with Agencies and Operations Leaders to ensure Key Role Candidates (Mixers, Depositors, Oven Operators, Packaging Operators, Forklift Operators, and Sanitation) have the required skill set, availability, and attitude to work within the plant.
  • Ensure adherence to the Internal Job Posting Process (IJPP).
  • Work with Department Leaders and determine current and upcoming staffing needs with Operations Leaders and T&D.
  • Track and monitor all temp agency orders; provide feedback and clarification to agencies regarding candidates interviewed.
  • Gather feedback from agencies on internal requests and summarize challenges to create an ops/agency action plan, always striving for continuous improvement.
  • Work with Department Leaders and oversee all training documentation for Key Roles (Mixers, Depositors, Mach Operators).
  • Troubleshoot issues with key stakeholders as needed.
  • Actively participate as a Health and Safety advocate as required.
  • Oversee any Team Member payroll issues and communicate with Payroll to resolve.
  • Manage the daily payroll approval process for production Team Members and manage the Time and Attendance system for hourly Team Members.
  • Conduct investigations and document them in Navex.
  • Convert agency payroll Team members to FGF payroll.
  • Coordinate Learning and Development initiatives with support from the L&D team.
  • Set up new Team Members in the TMC, ICIMS, and TMTM.
  • Conduct post-hire and exit interviews as needed.
  • Conduct effective performance review discussions with Team Members and Production Leaders.
  • With the support of T&D Business Partners, assist and participate in Progressive Disciplinary situations related to Team Members as necessary.
  • Assist with T&D/Operations projects as assigned.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years related experience in Human Resources in a Manufacturing Environment or Warehouse
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation.
  • Good understanding/working knowledge of HR policies/procedures and employee relations.
  • Proven competency in operating key office software and productivity tools such as the MS Office suite, and working knowledge of an HRIS.
