The global consumer robot company is seeking a strategic and innovative Director of Human Resources to lead, develop, and implement HR programs and initiatives for our global business. The successful candidate will combine expert HR knowledge, strong leadership, and relationship-building skills to support our organization during times of growth and transformation. This role requires a hands-on, empathetic, and influential HR leader who can foster a strong company culture, drive employee engagement, and deliver high-quality talent programs.

Job Title: Director, Human Resources

Location: Bedford, MA (Hybrid)

Duration: 06 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic and hands-on HRBP providing guidance across multiple HR disciplines, including employee relations, organizational design, talent development, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Partner with business leaders to guide day-to-day HR operations, aligning HR strategies with company goals while leveraging corporate HR subject matter expertise in areas such as compensation, benefits, and HR technology.
  • Build trusted relationships with leadership and employees, promoting positive employee experiences and fostering high levels of morale.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to leadership teams, guiding them through organizational growth, transformation, and development initiatives.
  • Lead and support talent programs including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, retention strategies, learning and development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Attend business team meetings to execute programs that enhance leadership development, such as internship programs, leadership training, and professional development workshops.
  • Provide a visible HR leadership presence, monitoring the “pulse” of employees to ensure engagement and proactively address workforce concerns.
  • Develop and implement HR solutions and initiatives to address complex organizational challenges and improve processes across the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 10–12+ years of progressive HR experience, including hands-on HRBP leadership, organizational design, talent program development, and change management.
  • Strong knowledge of HR programs, workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, DEI, and HRIS (preferably Workday).
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders, guide organizational change, and build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable making high-impact decisions using data-driven insights while exercising sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; ability to actively listen, build rapport, and influence across stakeholders.
  • Strong capability in managing teams, projects, and processes across multiple locations and business functions.
  • Experience supporting executive-level clients with professionalism, discretion, and credibility.
