Eleven Recruiting is seeking an HR Generalist to join the corporate team of a leading durable goods manufacturing company based in Huntington Beach or El Monte. This role plays a pivotal part in managing and supporting the full spectrum of human resources functions, with a strong emphasis on benefits administration. The HR Generalist will collaborate closely with leadership and employees to enhance the employee experience, ensure compliance with labor laws, and streamline HR programs. By driving initiatives in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management, this role contributes to organizational growth and promotes a culture of engagement, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day benefits administration, including open enrollment, employee inquiries, and vendor coordination.
  • Administer employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs to ensure smooth integration and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR policies, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Coordinate benefits activities including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication with providers.
  • Partner with leadership to enhance the employee experience and streamline HR operations across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws, assist with audits, and prepare required reporting.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
  • Contribute to the creation of a Center of Excellence for Shared Services, ensuring best practices in HR delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist with a strong focus on benefits administration (open enrollment required).
  • Background in HR operations, with solid knowledge of processes, compliance, and procedures.
  • Experience in mid-sized companies preferred over large, siloed environments.
  • Confident, collaborative, and adaptable “stand-up” personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred; aerospace experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with shared services models is desirable but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees and leadership.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and related HR software for managing employee data, recruitment, and benefits administration.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage diverse HR responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).
  • Experience in durable goods manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with payroll processing systems and benefits administration software.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead employee engagement and organizational development initiatives.
