The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations while driving full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent. This role will combine traditional HR generalist responsibilities such as employee relations, compliance, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR policy support with a strong focus on sourcing, screening, and coordinating hiring initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for open positions, from job posting and sourcing to interviewing and offer negotiation.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, networking, and employee referrals.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment metrics.

HR Generalist Functions

  • Support new hire onboarding, ensuring smooth integration into the organization.
  • Assist with HR policies, procedures, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Participate in the administration of employee benefits and respond to employee questions regarding health, retirement, and leave programs.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting and evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Participate in HR projects such as engagement initiatives, training programs, and communications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in recruiting or talent acquisition.
  • Experience recruiting in manufacturing, engineering, or technology industries.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and U.S. employment laws.
  • Familiarity with employer branding and social recruiting strategies.
  • Proficiency with HRIS/ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to act with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Must have ability to work from our local office Monday through Friday normal workday hours.
  • ATS experience, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
