*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and be proficient in various dental procedures, including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. You will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure a positive experience for all patients while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation.
*Duties*
* Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to evaluate patient oral health.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
* Conduct various dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and four-handed dentistry.
* Provide pediatric dental care with an emphasis on creating a comfortable environment for young patients.
* Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
* Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance patient care.
*Requirements*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
* Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
* Experience in pediatric dentistry and familiarity with infection control protocols.
* Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
* Experience in general dentistry procedures including endodontics, oral surgery, and dental fabrication.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical documentation.
* Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
