Software Engineer – Golang (with C# Migration Exposure) will work on a Go-based production system while supporting the ongoing migration to C#. The role aims to add new features and maintain existing functionality without regression during the migration.

Location: Dallas, TX - Local candidates preferred. Onsite five days a week. Duration: Long Term Contract Experience level: 12+ years overall is noted in the original description. Responsibilities

Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of a production application currently written in Go. Develop new features and support bug fixes in the Golang codebase while collaborating with teams migrating code to C#. Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps to ensure stability and continuity of service. Participate in code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and ensure high-quality delivery in a CI/CD environment. Help identify and bridge gaps or potential issues from migrating core functionality from Go to C#. Write documentation and provide support during the transition to ensure nothing is lost or overlooked. Support knowledge transfer and potentially assist with portions of the migration if needed. Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience in Go (Golang) development. Experience with building and maintaining scalable backend services and RESTful APIs. Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems. Familiarity with software migration practices, including reverse engineering and feature parity validation. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail during parallel development and migration. Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum environments. Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (e.g., Docker). Employment Details
