Frontend Developer (React JS Developer)

We’re looking for a hands-on

Frontend React.js Developer

to build high-quality, accessible, and performant web applications for a customer-facing platform. This is an

onsite role in San Leandro

collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams. About the Role The successful candidate will

build modern UI features

with

React 18

and

TypeScript ; manage state with

Redux Toolkit

and/or

React Query . Responsibilities Build modern UI features with

React 18

and

TypeScript ; manage state with

Redux Toolkit

and/or

React Query . Translate Figma/design specs into responsive components using

CSS Modules/Tailwind/SCSS

and modern layout techniques. Integrate with

REST/GraphQL

services; handle auth, error states, retries, and caching. Write robust unit/interaction tests with

Jest

and

React Testing Library ; contribute to CI quality gates. Optimize for performance (code-splitting, lazy loading, memoization) and

accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) . Participate in code reviews, grooming, and sprint ceremonies; contribute to component library/design system. Collaborate with backend teams (Node/Java/Go) to refine contracts and improve DX. Monitor and debug in production using logging, feature flags, and analytics. Required Qualifications 5–8+ years

of professional frontend experience;

3+ years

with

React

in production. Strong

TypeScript

fundamentals (types, generics, utility types). API integration experience ( REST/GraphQL ), JWT/OAuth basics. Build tooling:

Vite/Webpack ,

ESLint/Prettier ,

Babel/TSConfig . Accessibility, i18n, and performance best practices. Git workflows and Agile/Scrum experience; comfort collaborating onsite with product/design. Nice to Have Next.js

(SSR/SSG),

Storybook , design-system work. Node.js

for frontend build scripts or light BFF endpoints. AWS

(CloudFront/S3/Lambda@Edge), or GCP/Azure equivalents. Analytics/experimentation (GA4, Segment, Optimizely, LaunchDarkly). Security awareness (CSP, XSS mitigation, dependency hygiene). Seniority level
