Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience 4 years of experience in social marketing Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams Preferred qualifications

4 years of professional experience managing and coordinating social media activities on behalf of a technical product or brand Experience creating content from various sources to optimize across unique social strategies to drive engagement, audience acquisition and a shared voice Ability to deliver quality output with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment Ability and comfort with working in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment Responsibilities

Develop and execute a creative content strategy across social channels; manage the daily content calendar to engage our developer audience Oversee the creation of authentic, social-first content that resonates with developers and builds community trust Engage directly with the community by responding to questions, joining relevant conversations, and amplifying user-generated content and key influencer voices Analyze social media performance by tracking key metrics, maintaining dashboards, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional partners to launch campaigns and ensure cohesive messaging About the role

As a Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in connecting with the global developer community. Your mission is to shape and execute our social media strategy, building trust and driving adoption for Google's technologies. You will own our social presence across platforms and emerging networks, develop a content strategy for a technical audience, manage channels, track performance, and refine voice based on data and feedback. You will monitor KPIs, provide actionable insights, and continuously optimize social efforts to support Google’s products and solutions. Compensation and benefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000-$165,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Specific salary details for your preferred location will be shared by your recruiter. Compensation details listed reflect base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
