Role Description This is a full-time on-site role, located in Port Allen, LA, for a Senior Estimator. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for various construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing project plans and specifications, conducting site visits, collaborating with project managers and engineers, preparing detailed bid proposals, and maintaining accurate cost databases. The Senior Estimator will also be involved in negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring that all estimates meet company standards and client requirements. Qualifications Experience in cost estimating, project budgeting, and financial analysis Ability to lead/manage/coach other estimators Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations Proficiency in estimating software and tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and negotiation skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required Relevant industry certifications, such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE), are a plus Seniority level : Mid-Senior level Employment type : Full-time Job function : Management and Manufacturing Industry : Construction
