Wireless Construction Manager career opportunity available in VA!
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Telecom Construction Manager to oversee construction schedules, budgets, quality, and safety for heavy AT&T projects. In this role, you will manage direct-reporting staff, matrix team members, and vendor/subcontractor resources, ensuring project success and compliance.
Key Details:
Location: Field position managing customer experience in Richmond, VA and surrounding areas (No office reporting required; remote work when not in the field)
Open to applicants residing anywhere in Virginia
Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 8 AM – 5 PM (flexible start times as early as 6:30 AM) Term: Long-term project, open-ended, approximately ~ +/- 12 months Pay: ~ $45/hour (W2) plus benefits Overtime: Minimal expected Travel: within VA
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and enforce safety programs; ensure daily job site safety plans are reviewed and adhered to Conduct on-site analysis of ongoing projects, consulting higher-level managers for guidance Collaborate with the client's engineering team and utilize company resources for effective decision-making Implement quality programs to ensure company and subcontractor work meets customer specifications
Requirements:
5-7 years of industry experience Valid driver's license Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Engineering or technical degree preferred
