Artemis Institute for Clinical Research, a Headlands Research site, is seeking an experienced Lab Technician to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures of technical nature. You will handle sensitive equipment to process samples and conduct tests, reporting findings. The ideal candidate will have experience working under possibly hazardous conditions and will be well-trained to maintain safety conditions. Artemis Institute for Clinical Research, a Headlands Research site, is seeking an experienced Lab Technician to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures of technical nature. You will be handling sensitive equipment to process samples and conduct tests, reporting findings. The ideal candidate will have experience in working under possibly hazardous conditions. He/She will be well-trained to maintain safety conditions and will be passionate for doing work that makes things move forward. Monday & Thursday - 8:30am-5pm / Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 7:00am-3:30 pm Responsibilities

Complete blood draws, process, and ship laboratory samples (blood, toxic materials, tissue etc.) Design and execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment Requirements

Certified Phlebotomist preferred High school diploma or GED required Experience working with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required 2+ years of work experience being solely responsible for laboratory processes, including blood draws, processing & inventory management
