The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion. This role requires ensuring that all necessary permits are obtained timely, ordering supplies, and ensuring projects align with agreed-upon plans while negotiating timelines and resources. Collaboration with architects, engineers, and subcontractors is essential to meet project specifications, and the Project Manager must ensure compliance with all building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Plan and oversee all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.

Ensure timely acquisition of necessary permits and adherence to regulations.

Order supplies, tools, and equipment per project specifications.

Align projects with agreed-upon plans and negotiate timelines and resources with management.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to meet specifications.

Prepare and submit testing, inspection, and quality assurance reports as required.

Monitor project execution and milestones, addressing any deviations, quality, or timing issues.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes and safety regulations.

Utilize PROCORE project management software to update schedules and track progress.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with budgets ranging from $250K to $15M.

Represent the interests of owners, architects, consultants, government authorities, vendors, and subcontractors.

Administer the financial aspects of contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders through Procore software.

Supervise and manage team members, subcontractors, and suppliers, providing direction and feedback.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

2-5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager in construction.

Proficiency in PROCORE project management software.

Experience in handling construction budgets ranging from $250K to $15M.

Strong skills in project execution, coordination, and scheduling.

Knowledge of construction drawings, blueprint reading, and safety procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with commercial construction and K-12 construction projects.

Understanding of RFI, change orders, document control, and site development.

Ability to manage the administrative side of Procore and construction projects.

Work Environment

The Construction Project Manager role will be based in an office or on-site as necessary. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM, with some weekends required based on project needs. There may be potential for earlier start times for project initiation and completion phases.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roswell, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.87/hr.
