Family Preservation Supervisor

to lead a dedicated team that supports at-risk children and families, including both birth and foster families involved with the child welfare system.

This role is perfect for an experienced, licensed social work professional who thrives on leadership, values diversity, and wants to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families.

What You'll Do

As the

Family Preservation Supervisor , you'll provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff while also staying connected to families through direct service. You will: Supervise and mentor Family Preservation staff, helping them deliver

high-quality, culturally competent services . Carry a

small caseload

and provide home-based support, including assessments, service planning, and crisis intervention. Facilitate

family support groups

and educational workshops. Ensure accurate and timely program documentation and compliance. Partner with community systems including

DCYF, legal, judicial, medical, and educational providers

to advocate for families. Provide

on-call crisis support

on a rotating basis. Promote a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusion across the program. • What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

A

Master's degree in Social Work or a Mental Health field Rhode Island licensure at the highest level

permitted for your degree/experience Supervisory experience

leading clinical or social service staff Strong background in

clinical social work , including work with adopted children and families Skills in

counseling, group facilitation, and crisis intervention Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse backgrounds and systems A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance Why Join Children's Friend?
