Construction Manager – Water/Wastewater
Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned
Construction Manager
to join our rapidly growing wastewater division. This senior-level role will oversee the estimating, planning, coordination, and execution of municipal water storage tank and wastewater treatment plant projects. The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership, strong technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to ensure safe, high-quality projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all phases of construction for water tanks and wastewater treatment plants, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance
Oversee project managers, site superintendents, subcontractors, field staff, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are achieved
Coordinate with design engineers, owners, inspectors, and regulatory agencies to resolve issues and maintain compliance with municipal and state requirements
Manage team members responsible for reviewing and approving project plans, submittals, and change orders
Provide on-site leadership, monitor progress, and proactively address risks or delays
Ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental standards
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in heavy civil or water/wastewater construction
Proven track record managing the full lifecycle of municipal wastewater treatment plant projects (clarifiers, aeration basins, MBR/biological processes, mechanical equipment install, concrete, piping, electrical, etc.)
Strong knowledge of construction methods, means, and sequencing in the water/wastewater sector
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Environmental Engineering, or related field ()
Excellent hands-on field experience and construction knowledge
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage budgets of $10M+ and deliver projects to municipal clients
OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification strongly
Compensation & Benefits

4 weeks PTO to start, with accrual increasing with tenure
