Our client is a mid-sized, full-service General Contractor/Construction Manager that has been in business for over 30 years. This company, which is experiencing consistent growth, is renowned in the Southeast market with regards to their bread-and-butter project type - Large Commercial and Light Industrial. Team members are valued beyond the projects, which contributes to the strong company culture.
This client, based originally in Birmingham but with four offices total, is seeking a growth-oriented and experienced Project Manager to join their Mobile operation and help drive the growth plan in that area. Job Description
The Project Manager will:
Work alongside the Senior Project Manager to oversee entire project staff Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential. Build and maintain rapport with architects, subcontractors, and vendors. Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements. Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule Manage budget and financial reporting Interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget. Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program. The Successful Applicant
The successful Project Manager will have the following:
4+ years' experience in Commercial Construction Project Management Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field strongly preferred Experience with larger, ground-up projects OSHA certification preferred Proficient in project management software Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Desire to work in Birmingham, AL with occasional out-of-town site visits What's on Offer
