Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst is a member of the service area team and sits on local ministry teams to provide analytical support regarding the team\'s financial performance. Analyzes, understands and reports on key financial and business trends for the organization. Collects, researches and organizes financial and operational data to create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analyses. Candidates residing in Washington or Oregon are encouraged to apply. Candidates who reside in the Greater Portland area will be expected to go on site for meetings twice a month. Gather and analyze financial and operational results to understand and report underlying causes for business performance and variance. Proactively review, analyze, monitor, and report on operational, financial, and reports. Develop financial pro formas and value propositions. Measure actual performance against current project budgets, original project funding, and other measures as appropriate. Support business leaders with annual operating budget and long-range plan, including capital budget and financial forecasts. Collaborate with Accounting to conduct regular reviews of monthly close. Prepare analyses and recommendations used by leadership for informed operating decisions. Review and verify productivity metrics and statistics. Develop and provide training to leadership teams and managers regarding budget reporting, metrics and related information. Provide guidance, assistance and training to junior-level analysts. Required Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent 3 years of analytical and business experience Preferred Qualifications
Master\'s Degree in Business Administration Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) upon hire Healthcare related experience (2 years) Salary Range by Location
