As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential care to patients and adhere to AdventHealth service standards. Your responsibilities include greeting patients, collecting clinical, financial, and demographic information, assisting providers during examinations and treatments, and performing various office tasks. Your Contributions: Perform screenings as per physician orders and ensure accurate documentation during service. Conduct clinical intake following AHMG policies and procedures. Assist with minor procedures related to specialty treatments. May require travel to meet staffing needs. Prioritize safety and whole-care approaches. Maintain educational requirements and demonstrate competency as needed. Qualifications: Minimum: 1 year of experience as a medical assistant or a recent graduate from an accredited medical assisting program. Current certification from one of the recognized medical assisting certifications. Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
