Description / Scope / Mission
Lead and manage all Supply Chain activities for the manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective flow of materials and products from suppliers through to customers. The role balances day-to-day execution with strategic leadership, covering production planning, capacity management, warehouse and logistics operations, product life cycle, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement. This position ensures full discipline in SAP, drives EHS compliance in warehouse and material handling activities, and owns the site S&OP process.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
Lead production and capacity planning, and materials planning (MRP) in SAP. Manage supplier scheduling and ordering. Own and facilitate the site S&OP process, aligning demand, supply, and inventory strategies. Oversee warehouse operations, including goods-in, shipping, subcontract and cycle counting. Manage all material handlers through the Warehouse Supervisor, ensuring safe and efficient material movements and compliance with EHS standards. Ensure efficient inbound and outbound logistics, including external warehouses and transport organized by the facility. Own product life cycle management, including NPI setup, end-of-life transitions, and quarterly SKU profiling to update planning master data, prevent obsolescence, and minimize dead stock. Apply Value Stream Mapping and Lean tools to improve material flow, reduce lead times, and optimize inventory. Lead continuous improvement projects via the Supply Chain Improvement Leader, digitizing and streamlining processes. Monitor and deliver on all supply chain KPIs, including both business performance and SAP system discipline. Coach, lead, and develop the supply chain team, fostering accountability, engagement, and a culture of continuous improvement. Education / Certification / Qualifications / Experience
Education: University degree Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent. MBA as a plus Experience: 8+ years of supply chain management experience in manufacturing (FMCG preferred). Strong experience with SAP (MM, PP, SD, WM/EWM, APO/IBP). Proven record in planning, warehouse, logistics, and inventory optimization. Track record in S&OP ownership at site level. Experience in Value Stream Mapping, Lean manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement. Specific Knowledge:
(Technical/Product, Organizational and Interpersonal) Deep knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes. Strong analytical and portfolio management skills (SKU profiling, master data management). Knowledge of BI/analytics tools (Power BI, BW, Analytics Cloud) desirable. Strong EHS awareness for warehouse and material handling. Leadership and people development skills. Others: Team builder with proven leadership capabilities. Relentless in driving efficiency, system discipline, and process improvement. Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
