$83.98 - $141.09 per hour Rush salaries are determined by many factors including education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. Summary:

The System Director of Pharmacy, Information Systems and Technology provides strategic leadership for the development, implementation, and optimization of pharmacy information systems and technology across Rush System for Health. Job Responsibilities:

Directs, supervises, mentors, and provides feedback to team members Directs the hiring, discipline, orientation, and training need of team members Coordinates activities between System Pharmacy, Pharmacy Informatics team, Digital and Information Services and other inter and intradepartmental areas. Ensures compliance with Federal and State laws, USP, Joint Commission standards, Department of Health and State Board of Pharmacy regulations, and other accrediting bodies Develops and facilitates alignment, reviews and manages policies and procedures across the health system. Develops and manages the operating and capital budget process for the pharmacy informatics team in addition to pharmacy technology, automation and analytics services Collaborates to negotiate contracts with technology, automation and analytics vendors. Collaborates to prioritize pharmacy IT initiatives to maximize pharmacy value and performance, optimize the medication use process and ensures compliance. Develops and executes the RUSH Pharmacy Informatics strategy aligned with the health system’s goals for medication safety, quality, and effectiveness. Leads the adoption of innovative pharmacy technologies Facilitates change to ensure effectiveness of technology and automation adoption and utilization Provides workflow and process strategy, including productivity and quality monitors to ensure maximum utilization information systems and technology Oversees the development, implementation, evaluation, and quality improvement of pharmacy information systems including technology, automation, and analytics. Coordinates pharmacy information systems and technology services between sites to ensure provision of safe, consistent, standardized care throughout the system. Develops, manages, and executes strategic plans and clinical initiatives that support strategic and operational system pharmacy goals. Provides customer, quality, and cost feedback to the specialty and pharmacy service line and its customers within and outside the system Oversees the development and execution of the system pharmacy technology, automation and analytics strategic roadmap Creates an environment of empowerment, teamwork, and collaboration both in and outside the pharmacy. Required Job Qualifications:

Doctorate Degree of Pharmacy (PharmD) graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy or equivalent is required State of Illinois Pharmacist licensure required within 12 months of hire. Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive pharmacy operations experience, with three (3) years of previous supervisory experience preferred. Preferred Job Qualifications:

Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or other relevant specialty preferred. Successful completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 and PGY2 Health Systems Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Pharmacy Residency or equivalent experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in managing complex pharmacy operations, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pharmacy programs and initiatives. Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
