We are seeking a

Senior Security Engineer

with extensive expertise in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-scale network and cloud security systems. This is a leadership role for a seasoned professional with 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, capable of driving technical strategy and managing high-impact security initiatives. As a key technical leader, you will oversee infrastructure security across data centers and virtualized cloud environments. You will also mentor a team of security engineers, shape enterprise security architecture, and lead the integration of AI and automation to strengthen threat detection and response. This position is ideal for a driven, forward-thinking engineer with a strong background in network security, cloud platforms, and team leadership—especially those holding advanced certifications from Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, or Juniper. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of secure network architecture across on-prem and cloud environments. Oversee deployment and maintenance of key security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, content filters, and SSL visibility tools. Ensure enterprise-wide compliance with federal security standards and best practices. Leadership & Team Management

Manage and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work culture. Provide career guidance, conduct performance reviews, and oversee team development plans. Coordinate team projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and timelines. Drive secure implementation of hybrid cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP). Develop and enforce cloud security best practices, policies, and governance strategies. AI & Security Automation

Leverage AI/ML tools to improve threat detection, response, and overall security posture. Design and implement automated solutions using scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Puppet). Analyze and respond to emerging threats, regulatory requirements, and risk landscapes. Advise leadership on risk mitigation strategies and compliance planning. Required Skills/Education:

Minimum 15 years

of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering. Strong background in

designing and maintaining enterprise network security

infrastructures. Proven leadership in managing security teams and cross-functional projects. Advanced technical certifications preferred, especially: Palo Alto Networks (PCNSE or higher)
