Responsibilities and Expectations

Are you a seasoned project manager with a proven history of successfully leading diverse projects from start to finish? Equity Bank is looking for a committed professional to join our team as a Senior Project Manager. In this position, you will oversee projects of varying scales and complexity. You will work closely with stakeholders to define project goals and objectives. This role will be essential for fostering strong relationships across multiple departments and driving project success.

Job Duties Leadership of small, medium, and large-scale projects and initiatives Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget Follow the standard project management methodology Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring operational and technical feasibility Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects Report and escalate to management as needed Manage the relationship with the Project Owner, Executive Sponsor, and key stakeholders Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term deliverables Perform other duties as assigned or required Required Skills & Education

Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study preferred or equivalent work experience 5 years of progressively responsible experience managing/directing projects and/or teams Previous financial service experience in a technology field is a plus Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
