Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm to find a strategic and hands-on operations leader to oversee firm administration and drive continued growth. This position is located in California and offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate. The role may be filled at the Chief Operating Officer (COO) or Director of Operations level depending on the qualifications of the applicant.
Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $350,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Oversee all firm operations including HR, IT, accounting/finance, facilities, and case management systems. Partner with firm leadership to set operational strategy, drive process improvements, and support continued growth. Lead and develop department heads; act as the connector between teams to foster collaboration and reduce tension. Implement and optimize technology across legal operations (intake, case management, IT systems, HR, and finance tools). Ensure operational excellence, compliance, and efficiency in a fast-paced PI litigation environment. Represent firm leadership values by maintaining an approachable, professional, and solutions-focused leadership style. Qualifications
Personal injury law firm operations experience is required
(ideal: COO, Firm Administrator, or Director of Operations at a PI firm). Demonstrated success leading large teams (200+ for COO; mid-size team leadership for Director-level). Strong track record of implementing technology and driving adoption across multiple departments. Proven ability to unite teams and foster a collaborative, positive culture. Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. JD is a plus. Compensation
COO:
$250K - $350K (must have prior COO title and large-scale team management). Director of Operations:
$150K - $250K with growth path to COO in 4-5 years.
