Mid-Level Project Manager
in our dynamic Power Delivery Solutions (PDS) division, where you will collaborate with experienced engineers and account managers on substation engineering projects for diverse electric utility clients across the Northern United States. Oversee overall project performance and deliver accurate reporting. Manage project costs, schedules, and scopes while developing recovery plans as necessary. Ensure compliance with contract terms. Drive work products through effective coordination with Engineering Leads and Managers. Document and ensure adherence to quality control processes. Communicate directly with clients and internal management to address issues and update on progress, costs, schedule compliance, and risks. Prepare bid documents and develop cost estimates and RFP responses. Complete monthly invoicing and accounts receivable within set deadlines. Identify and pursue business development opportunities. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of five years of relevant Project Management experience. Familiarity with the electric power industry and its associated business challenges. Proven experience in planning, managing, and reporting project financial performances and timelines. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage effectively with customer representatives. Experience with project management software (e.g., Workfront, MS Project, P6). Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Periodic travel may be required (less than 5%); a valid US driver's license is necessary. Hybrid work model expected (2-3 days in the office, remaining days remote), preferably in one of the following locations: Framingham, MA; Walled Lake, MI. Preferred Qualifications: PMP Certification. Direct experience with electric power infrastructure projects. Demonstrated success in a team-oriented consulting business environment. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Supervisory experience.
