Sr. Power Electronics Test Engineer

Responsibilities Familiarity with energy storage systems, solar inverters, or other grid-tied power products is beneficial. Experience with automation and scripting for compliance testing, particularly with Python. Develop and execute engineering and pre-compliance test plans by interpreting and applying various standards, such as UL 1741, IEEE 1547, and IEC 61000 Series. Configure test setups, including both hardware and firmware, process the resulting data, and submit findings for official certification. Requirements A bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a comparable level of hands-on experience. A minimum of five years of experience performing compliance testing on power electronics or grid-interactive inverters. Hands-on experience with major standards like UL 1741, IEEE 1547, and IEC 62109. Demonstrated proficiency in successfully completing product certifications. Practical experience with both grid-interactive and grid-support standards and codes.
