Position Overview
We are hiring a
District Manager
to oversee a portfolio of self-storage properties in
Southern California , focused on the
San Diego market . This role is responsible for regional operations, team leadership, and executing strategies to drive revenue, occupancy, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities Manage 6-10 self-storage properties and their on-site teams Train and mentor site managers to meet performance goals Monitor occupancy, rental rates, delinquency, and expense management Conduct site visits to ensure operational compliance, safety, and branding standards Collaborate with leadership on regional goals, acquisitions, and capital improvement projects Manage hiring, staffing schedules, and employee performance reviews Analyze reports and implement improvement plans for underperforming sites Qualifications
5+ years of multi-unit leadership in
self-storage, retail, or similar operations Experience managing teams across multiple locations Skilled in financial analysis, customer service, and sales strategy Strong written/verbal communication and organizational abilities Familiarity with platforms like Yardi, SiteLink, or storage-specific software preferred Based in or near
San Diego, CA
