Vice President of Finance – Home Health Care (Essen House Call )
Company Overview: At Essen Health Care, we care for that! Essen House Calls provides in-home primary and specialty care in the New York Metro area. We are looking for the most talented and effective individuals to join our rapidly growing company. Position Title: Vice President of Finance- Home Health Care (Essen House Call). Reports To: Chief Financial Officer. Department: Finance. Industry: Home Health Care. Position Summary: The Vice President of Finance will lead the financial strategy and operations of the organization, ensuring fiscal responsibility, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth in a dynamic home health care environment. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the organization’s mission and growth objectives. Financial Management: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial plans, including annual budgets, multi-year forecasts, and capital planning, aligned with strategic goals. Revenue Cycle Oversight: Lead billing, collections, and reimbursement processes, optimizing revenue cycle performance. Operational Support: Collaborate closely with clinical and operational leaders to align financial strategies with care delivery models and organizational goals. Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local financial regulations. Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred). 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or home health care. Deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement models, especially Medicare and Medicaid. Proven experience with financial systems, data analytics, and ERP platforms. Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills. Preferred Attributes: Experience in scaling operations in a multi-site or multi-state home health care organization. Familiarity with value-based care models and alternative payment arrangements. Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and drive financial innovation.
