We are seeking a
Senior Business Process Reengineering (BPR) Specialist
to support the
Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)
in driving business transformation initiatives. This role focuses on improving business and operational frameworks, supporting experimentation and concept development, and advising senior leaders through data-driven recommendations. Key Responsibilities
Continuously evaluate and improve business and operational processes to support DLA
Futures capability and concept development . Plan, coordinate, and execute
experiments, wargames, seminars, and strategic studies , including Joint Army and multinational service events. Facilitate or participate in
seminars, workshops, panels, and working groups
related to joint concepts and DLA equities. Draft professional-level documentation (e.g., policies, directives, analytical support plans, mission-related studies, and briefing materials) aligned with
DoD communication standards . Interpret analysis from simulations and logistics exercises to inform
strategic decisions and senior-level planning . Support
Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)
processes, offering guidance on requirements and implications. Host and facilitate stakeholder meetings and synchronize planning across internal and external agencies. Assist in the design and execution of training events focused on strategic and operational sustainment decisions. Shape long-term strategies, align goals, and analyze trends to support DLA and DoD modernization objectives. Required Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum
5+ years
in BPR, business analysis, capabilities development, global planning, or strategic concept development roles. Experience with
Army CASCOM
and/or
US Army Futures Sustainment Battle Lab (Fort Lee)
highly preferred. Experience supporting
logistics transformation , strategic sustainment planning, or experimentation initiatives.
Skills:
Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication, including briefings to senior leadership (GO/FLAG and SES-level). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives, lead working groups, and navigate multi-stakeholder environments.
