Evaluate and solve problems related to collection and/or processing of specimens, maintaining specimen integrity throughout the testing process. Facilitate workflow processes and check outstanding tests in a timely manner. Troubleshoot and follow through on tests that appear not to have been collected/received when expected. Know and use computer downtime procedures as needed when the computer is not available. Help other hospital and laboratory coworkers to provide timely patient care. Qualifications

Bachelor\'s Degree in Medical Technology, Applied Technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological Science preferred. Internship in an approved Medical Technology training program required. Two years of experience in Microbiology preferred. Licensed MT(ASCP) - Medical Technologist or MLS(ASCP) - Medical Lab Scientist or equivalent license required upon hire, depending on the microbiology scope; other recognized credentials may be accepted upon hire based on job requirements. What You Will Do

Collaborate in a fast-paced, high-complexity Microbiology HUB laboratory serving 10 hospital sites. Work with a team dedicated to quality results and a variety of testing including Microbiology (routine, AFB and fungal cultures), Molecular and Serology. Benefits and Perks
