The Stellantis Purchasing organization is seeking a Supplier Diversity Program Manager. This role is an integral part of the Stellantis Purchasing organization and supports the implementation of strategic programs for the Diversity Supplier Development (DSD) department and the group's business stakeholders (internal and external).
Specific responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Execute the Diversity Supplier Development Strategic Business Plan among assigned Purchasing Organization Commodity Buying Teams
Manage Tier 2 Program for specific commodity groups and suppliers
Develop relationships with Automotive Suppliers, and promote networking relationships between suppliers and commodity buying teams to support Stellantis Purchasing Organization Goals
Work with external supplier diversity partner councils and chambers to support programs, and create opportunities for suppliers to grow business and support Stellantis Purchasing Goals
Manage the company's participation in supplier diversity conferences and trade shows to learn best practices and network with suppliers for consideration of Stellantis Tier N Supplier Partnerships
Support the Commodity Buying Teams by working hand-in-hand to provide them monthly updates regarding Tier 1 & 2 supplier spend performance metrics, and leveraging data to provide strategic recommendations to target opportunities to support Purchasing Organization Goals
Lead training initiatives across all stakeholders to educate stakeholders on supplier diversity requirements, programs, and systems
Support the management, track and submit the DSD budget, update presentations, marketing, and training materials, and upkeep of Stellantis DSD Website to ensure all content is updated and available for all business stakeholders
Prepare and submit surveys and nominations from external organizations by working with other organizations or teams within Stellantis
Support the planning and implementation of DSD matchmaking events and programs to identify qualified candidates and promote Stellantis DSD department within the community
Develop relationships with other supplier diversity professionals to share best practices and ideas
Perform other duties that support the success of Stellantis supplier diversity efforts as requested
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Minimum 7 years of professional experience within the automotive industry, or supplier diversity Intermediate Skill Level in Microsoft Office with excellent oral, written, and presentation skills Excellent organizational and analytical skills with great attention to detail Excellent relationship building skills (internal customers as well as suppliers); strong public speaking skills Ability to work independently with minimal direction, with a team-first attitude Proven ability to simultaneously manage several projects in a fast-paced environment Outstanding customer service skills and ability to build a customer-focused culture in teammates
