and be a vital part of our team! You will operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at our customer sites. Some of the vehicles you'll be using include vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs. This position involves both driving and non-driving responsibilities to assist with hazardous waste clean-up efforts. Why Choose Clean Harbors? Key Responsibilities: Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures. Operate commercial trucks and support field laborers—team effort is key! Load and unload trucks as necessary. Perform manual labor on site to meet customer expectations. Ensure proper placarding of vehicles in compliance with Company and DOT regulations. Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, and various reports. Follow all local, state, and federal regulations and compliance rules. Safely operate vehicles according to industry standards. Adhere to corporate operating guidelines and environmental health and safety protocols. Be available for emergency response on a rotating on-call basis. Perform site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and handle hazardous materials as required. Required Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL. Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment. Proficiency in using various mobile devices. Ability to fulfill physical demands of the job. Pass background check, drug test, and physical exam. Meet facial hair standards as per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard. Preferred Qualifications: Commercial driving experience. Existing Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Familiarity with hazardous materials. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles. Experience in manual labor roles.
