We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee the electrical scope of a hyperscale data center project. This role requires deep expertise in managing large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on high-voltage systems, power distribution, and coordination with general contractors and technology clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

Lead the electrical construction efforts from pre-construction through commissioning.

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and manpower forecasts.

Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives.

Technical Oversight

Review electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance.

Ensure installation meets hyperscale data center standards, including redundancy, scalability, and uptime requirements.

Manage procurement of major electrical equipment (switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, etc.).

Team Leadership

Supervise field teams, foremen, and subcontractors.

Foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.

Conduct regular site walks and progress meetings.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact for the electrical scope with the client and general contractor.

Provide regular updates, reports, and issue resolution.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and client standards.

Enforce safety protocols and participate in audits and inspections.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).

Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical project management, with 3+ years on data center or mission-critical projects.

Proven experience managing hyperscale or large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.

Skills & Certifications

Strong understanding of electrical systems: MV/LV distribution, grounding, lighting, fire alarm, and BMS integration.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).

OSHA 30 certification (preferred).

PMP or similar certification (a plus).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
