Social Content Manager Job Description
We’re looking for a Social Content Manager to elevate UGP’s digital presence and grow an engaged community of golfers and fans. This role combines strategy, creativity, and analytics to build compelling narratives that showcase UGP’s impact both on and off the course. You’ll work closely with our coaches, fitness experts, and creative team to produce content that inspires golfers of every level while driving measurable brand growth.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute UGP’s social media and content strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and community growth
Shoot and edit high-quality video and photo content that highlights UGP’s team, culture, clients, and events
Manage weekly posting and engagement across Instagram, UGP App, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms
Draft compelling copy and collaborate with internal teams to produce platform-native visuals, video, and storytelling content
Maintain and oversee a content calendar that aligns with launches, events, and marketing priorities
Monitor platform trends and performance analytics to optimize content effectiveness and expand reach
Track, measure, and report on KPIs to demonstrate growth and inform ongoing content strategy
Oversee community management by responding to comments, messages, and audience inquiries in a timely and authentic manner
Provide creative direction on content concepts, ensuring consistency in UGP’s brand voice and visual identity across all channels
Collaborate with external freelancers when larger productions are needed, guiding creative execution to align with brand standards
Champion new formats, creative ideas, and social innovations that keep UGP at the forefront of sports and performance content
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
3+ years of experience managing social media for sports, fitness, or lifestyle brands
Strong skills in video and photo production, including shooting, editing, and post-production (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, or similar tools)
Proven ability to create platform-native content (Reels, YouTube Shorts, long-form video, photography)
Expertise in content planning, copywriting, and cross-functional collaboration
Ability to analyze social data and translate insights into actionable strategies
Creative and trend-savvy with a proven track record of growing engaged audiences
Highly organized and proactive, comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Ability to quickly learn and become an authority for others on the brand voice and image
Ability to lead creative direction by transforming ideas into clear visual and storytelling concepts, guiding both in-house and external collaborators to ensure consistency and quality across platforms
Experience with content management software is a plus
Golf enthusiast. Knowledge of golf equipment, technology, current events, and athletes highly preferred to produce content

SALARY RANGE: $65k - $85k, DOE
