Drinking Water Treatment Business Class Lead
HDR is a 100% employee-owned professional services firm specializing in architecture, engineering, environmental, and construction services. Our Washington Water Business Group is recognized for planning, designing, and delivering complex water infrastructure projects, including water system planning, water quality, condition assessment, and drinking water treatment facilities. As the Water Treatment Business Class Lead, you will work with Water Business Group leadership to lead, shape, and grow HDR’s water treatment business in Washington. You will provide technical expertise, manage staff, deliver projects, and pursue opportunities with new and existing clients. You will play an integral technical role on multidisciplinary teams to deliver highly visible, impactful public infrastructure projects across the state, region, and country. Primary Responsibilities: Technical Excellence: Participate in project delivery from planning, design, through construction phases to meet client expectations. Serve as a project manager or design manager and lead critical area and regional projects. Oversee coordination, monitoring, and improvement of technical competencies of business class staff and deliverables. Use proactive project management to verify that all work is planned, organized, controlled, and delivered. Collaborate on business class efforts with area operations, marketing, project managers, and project delivery staff. Develop and lead technical and marketing initiatives. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree is a plus. Active engagement in professional or industry organizations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand. Proven leadership and mentoring skills. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field. 10 years of experience. Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values. Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience.
