Overview

Site Manager position with Fives HPM Americas, part of the Fives Group, in Lafayette, Indiana. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams to support all activities from installation through final acceptance, acting as the single point of contact for the customer and all resources involved. Responsibilities

Proactively attain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Validate that the customer’s purchase order and the internal order write-up are consistent and align as required. Analyze and evaluate project risks, formulate and direct risk reduction activities. Manage the project schedule for each assigned project during installation and through acceptance at the customer site. Receive schedule buy-in from all functional areas involved in the project. Control budgets and the implementation plan throughout project installation. Interface with management on project assessment, direction, bottlenecks and risks. Provide verbal reports and overall project information as needed to support daily walk-arounds. Serve as a single line of communication between the customer and Fives. Coordinate communications and visits between Fives and subcontractors. Maintain a schedule and reporting system reflecting project progress; provide reports to the customer’s Project Manager. Coordinate customer run-off at the customer site. Coordinate for all customer questions, concerns, and needs. Create and coordinate recovery plans to meet the project schedule. Advise, review, and obtain approval for all engineering designs related to the installation. Coordinate efforts of various Fives divisions and subcontractors during final assembly to establish shipping dates and ensure timely installation. Coordinate and supervise installation and debug of all equipment at the customer facility. Coordinate acceptance testing at the customer facilities according to defined procedures and agreements with the installation supervisor. Coordinate training requirements for each project. Assess success and difficulties of each project. Identify and assist in developing new policies, procedures, routines, and systems required to support or improve new projects. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school, or 2–4 years of similar or related experience preferred. 8+ years of experience in technical roles in manufacturing or an industrial environment. Experience with machine tools, CNC equipment, robotics, or industrial automation highly preferred. Strong project management skills, with experience in managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams. Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities. Demonstrated ability to drive, influence, and collaborate across departments and leadership levels. Preferred Certifications

Active PMP Certification is a bonus but not required. Lean, Six Sigma, or related operational improvement credentials. Technical certifications in machine tool operation or industrial maintenance a plus. Work Environment

Office and factory environment. Travel

Approximately 15% travel required, typically to customer sites and Fives locations. Key Competencies
