Position Summary
The Supply Planner plays a key role in executing production, replenishment, and purchasing plans based on MRP signals, supporting Chemical Guys’ growth across Direct-to-Consumer, Online Marketplace, and Wholesale channels. This role partners closely with demand planning, marketing, sourcing, and finance to drive supply chain efficiency, support brand visibility, and enable sales. Ultimately, the job of the supply planner is to execute the supply plan balancing meeting customer service level targets with inventory health goals and driving efficiency throughout the process. $110 - $130k Primary Responsibilities
Execute MRP supply planning activities in Oracle Fusion Cloud, including planned order releases and exception message resolution Maintain and optimize MRP master data (e.g., lead times, lot sizes, sourcing rules) to align system outputs with business constraints. Identify and proactively resolve supply risks such as potential stockouts or excess inventory, communicating impacts and mitigation plans. Develop SKU-level supply plans—including raw materials and packaging—by integrating MRP signals with business priorities and data-driven analysis. Lead a collaborative purchasing process, incorporating input from product management, demand planning, marketing, sourcing, and finance. Partner with the Sourcing team to translate business insights into actionable MRP inputs, ensuring smooth product and information flow. Contribute to MRP system improvement initiatives, offering recommendations for enhanced planning efficiency. Monitor excess and obsolete inventory, proposing strategies for utilization and reduction. Translate complex supply analyses into clear, actionable insights and visualizations for cross-functional stakeholders. Provide purchasing forecasts to support cost negotiations and supplier planning. Collaborate with Product and Finance teams on quarterly and annual business planning. Support strategic sourcing initiatives led by the Sourcing Management team. Requirements
Proven experience in MRP-based supply planning; Oracle Fusion Cloud strongly preferred. Solid understanding of MRP principles and supply chain fundamentals. ASCM (APICS) CPIM or CSCP certification preferred. Working knowledge of purchasing processes within supply planning Experience in supplier management, inventory control, and warehouse operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams and with external partners. Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, charts, graphs). Clear and effective communication skills. Minimum 2 years of experience in supply planning or purchasing within an MRP environment. Comfortable working in high-volume, fast-paced environments. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results in dynamic settings.
