Construction Project Superintendent Join our dynamic team as a Construction Project Superintendent, where you will oversee the management of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring successful completion and exceeding client expectations. Key Responsibilities Lead all superintendent activities and responsibilities effectively. Implement and enforce rigorous safety protocols on-site. Participate actively in the Safety Training Program. Cultivate strong relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Construction Managers. Recruit, organize, train, direct, and coordinate the field construction team, including managing subcontractors’ work. Thoroughly review all project drawings, specifications, and subcontractor submissions. Facilitate pre-job conferences and conduct regular subcontractor meetings. Ensure high standards of work quality and establish quality control measures. Manage material and tool procurement efficiently to minimize crisis buying. Prepare essential reports, including time sheets, work orders, daily reports, and invoice approvals. Timely document and complete all punch lists to client satisfaction. Oversee final close-out processes and secure Owner's acceptance of the project. Engage in manual tasks only under rare, exigent circumstances as deemed necessary. Willingness to travel as required by management. Ability to supervise multiple projects over a wide geographic area. Fulfill other related responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or an equivalent level of experience. A minimum of 5 years of extensive field construction experience in a supervisory capacity. Strong leadership capabilities and effective organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in understanding specifications for all trades, backed by hands-on experience as a foreman or journeyman, and experience as a project engineer. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and job site safety practices. Solid knowledge of job scheduling, planning, and cost control methods. Exceptional problem-solving skills coupled with a sense of urgency in tasks.
