is partnering with a world-leading innovator in high-performance computing and graphics to find a talented Senior Firmware Validation Engineer. This is a fantastic contract opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology at the heart of the semiconductor industry. Key Responsibilities: Enhance and maintain low-level validation tool drivers and sophisticated test infrastructure. Debug complex system-level regression failures and perform root-cause analysis. Collaborate closely with cross-functional hardware and software engineering teams to implement features and resolve issues. Validate system-level features and blocks for new and upcoming hardware generations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in low-level programming with

C

and

Assembly

language. Deep understanding of system

boot flow

(e.g.,

UEFI , PXE, JTAG). Strong experience debugging complex, system-level hardware/software issues. Proficiency with

Python

for test automation and scripting. Solid knowledge of

x86

and/or

ARM

CPU architecture. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with ARM v8 architecture. Familiarity with AMBA AXI protocol. Background in device driver development or embedded systems. This role requires working on-site in San Jose, CA, Tuesday through Thursday each week.
