Overview

In this role, you will work closely with other project managers, estimators, and operations and production team members by completing assigned tasks. Job Responsibilities: Identifies and qualifies subcontractors and vendors for assigned scopes of work. Prepares and transmits bid packages and invitations to bid. Receives and analyzes received bids. Negotiates and awards subcontracts and purchase orders

Prepares detailed estimates and cost codes for initial cost control reporting and updates labor cost reports and summary cost reports. Works with accounting to maintain subcontractor and vendor requirements for payment processing Works with the project team to prepare and update progress schedules including short-term interval schedules. Assists in planning construction operations and sequences Manage client relationships and interact with the client, including correspondence, periodic reports, change order requests, submittal of pay requisitions, and response to client inquiries and directives Checks, receives, and transmits submittals; maintains submittal control log; prepares and manages requests for information and maintains RFI log Prepares project close-out requirements, including unit cost history, punch-list management, and inspections Education & Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred or experience in steel fabrication project management To thrive in this role, you'll need: Knowledge of the construction industry, including methods, engineering, equipment, technology, safety, etc. Ability to monitor resources, including budgets, schedules, and materials, in an environment of multiple, competing demands Excellent organizational, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills At Haskell, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, professional development opportunities, and more. Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
