As a Patient Care Technician, under the guidance of a Nurse Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting patient care through essential direct and indirect activities. You will contribute to a safe and efficient care environment while performing selected interventions as part of a dynamic care team focused on delivering a positive patient experience. In this high-energy role, you will thrive in a busy work environment, balancing multiple priorities while adapting to flexible scheduling needs. Qualifications

Required Skills: No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided on-site. Completion of the PCT-specific Hartford HealthCare orientation program. Certification as a BLS Provider from the American Heart Association (AHA) must be obtained within 2 months (60 days) of employment or transfer date. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Some relevant experience in an acute care hospital setting. Current certification as a BLS Provider from the AHA. Certification as a CNA, CPCT/A, EMT, or CMA to qualify for advancement in the PCT clinical ladder. We prioritize our employees' growth and career advancement.
