Summary of Responsibilities:
The Assistant Property Manager upholds Extell Management Services' brand, reputation, image and standards byeffectivelymanaging available resources and services; and achievingresidential operations objectives through the successfulcoordination among employees and residents of Extell-managed residential properties.The Assistant Property Manager assiststhe Resident Manager and employees of eachproperty in fulfillingthe daily activities and requests of the residents on a timely basis; and develops, plans, and coordinates services which promote the maintenance and high standards of Extell-managed Residential properties.This position is further responsible for effectively managingand maintainingresidential files, certificates of insurance documents, and vendor and tradesman information.
The Assistant Property Manager additionally assistswith the development and implementation ofnew resident orientations, creates a robust property management profile for each new resident;actively listens andresponds to various inquiriesand resolves issues promptly and effectively;assists withmanaging third-party working relationships; timely submitsall invoices received, as well as manages the full resident move-out process, including inspections and security deposit processing. This role also requires managers to communicate regularly with tenants to ensure on-time payment of rent and proper adherence to lease agreements and additional riders. The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for reporting all liability and property incidents immediately,adhering to company safety and security policies and procedures, andperforming other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Summary of Requirements:
Ideal candidates for the Assistant Property Manager position hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and a minimum ofthree (3) years of experience withon-site property management within a luxury hotel or residential environment. This position requires effective client service, professional presentation, communication (verbal and written),active listening, judgement,problem-solving,decision-making, organizational and time-managementskills. This position requires a strong attentiveness to detail; aneffective ability to perform under pressure to include the ability to prioritize and multi-task when presentedwith competing demands; and an effective ability to quickly assess and promptly respond tovarious situations, escalate issues when necessary, and exercise the utmost discretion and confidentiality on various matters. Ideal candidates can successfullywork both independently and within a team.This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends and holidays as needed. Prior experience inMS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and applicable industry programs is required.
