Experience working with communications, policy, or marketing teams to support the launch of external-facing products, narratives, or events. Experience with operations management. Preferred qualifications: 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Excellent communication skills, with experience preparing materials and supporting engagements with executives. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. The Office of the SVP (OSVP) helps catalyze, incubate, and shape AI innovations, initiatives, and engagements in partnership with the SVP – and across Google, Alphabet, and externally – to advance progress toward a responsible AI future. You will help manage multi-quarter programs from planning to successful landing, including managing relationships with external academic partners, internal stakeholders, and vendors. You will manage core operational cadence for the programs you support, including cross-functional coordination. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Responsibilities Design and deliver optimized program communication plans including executive and key partner communications. Determine phasing and metrics associated with program lifecycle that address continuous improvement including Resource Stewardship. Determine and collect data required to govern programs and drive stakeholder decision-making. Anticipate change management requirements that are required by program stakeholders. Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations of senior cross-functional leads and ensuring they have the insights they need to make decisions.
