Overview
The US&C Taxi Fleets and Vehicles team is responsible for driving strategy and operations across multiple business lines that include managed fleets, unmanaged fleets, earner rentals, and car sales, driving incremental topline/bottomline impact for the business, ensuring suppliers maximize their returns on assets deployed on Uber, supporting earners with the right vehicle or gig access opportunities, and supporting automotive OEMs in crafting vehicle solutions to earners or fleets. What You'll Do
The candidate in this role will be involved in driving strategic programs related to fleets operations in the US&C region. They will work to devise new commercial and operating models with different types of fleets in the ecosystem to enable launch of new products. Activities include: Financial modeling Developing commercial structures and partnerships Driving cross functional collaboration across Tech, BD, Policy, and Legal Interfacing with marketplace, consumer, and earner teams Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., STEM, Economics) or equivalent practical experience 4+ years of experience in operations, analytics, or product, ideally in tech, logistics, or strategy consulting Proficiency in SQL to extract and analyze large, complex datasets Preferred Qualifications
Strong business acumen and ability to craft data-backed recommendations Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with comfort presenting to stakeholders Track record of working across highly cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance Comfortable navigating ambiguity and pushing forward when priorities shift Ability to influence without authority and advocate for operational realities in technical discussions Compensation and Benefits (Location Variances)
For Chicago, IL-based roles: base salary range USD 116,000 to USD 128,500 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: USD 129,000 to USD 143,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: USD 129,000 to USD 143,000 per year. For Washington, DC-based roles: USD 129,000 to USD 143,000 per year. All US locations may be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program and may be offered an equity award and other types of compensation.
