Tax - Private Client Partner

The Private Client Partner will support the firm’s tax and advisory services for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, business owners, and executives. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with deep technical knowledge of individual, estate, gift, and trust taxation, combined with a strong ability to build lasting client relationships. The individual will serve as a trusted advisor, providing proactive planning strategies that help clients protect and grow their wealth across generations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and expand the private client services practice, driving business development and cultivating long-term client relationships. Advise clients on complex tax matters including income tax, estate planning, charitable giving, succession planning, and wealth transfer strategies. Oversee preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, and related entities. Collaborate with attorneys, investment advisors, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client goals. Provide thought leadership in private client services, including changes in tax legislation, estate planning opportunities, and wealth preservation strategies. Mentor and develop team members, fostering technical excellence and client service skills. Represent the firm externally, enhancing its presence within the private wealth and family office communities. Qualifications: CPA license required; JD/LLM or advanced tax/estate planning degree strongly preferred. 12+ years of progressive tax experience with significant focus on high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and private clients. Deep technical knowledge of individual, estate, and trust taxation, as well as partnership and investment structures. Demonstrated success in business development and growing a client base. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
