ABOUT THIS ROLE
St. Michael's is seeking Supervisory Sr. Program Manager candidates for an anticipated federal program. In this role, you will provide program leadership and oversight to ensure the successful execution of financial and program management activities. You will provide leadership in areas such as accounting, financial reporting, internal controls and risk management, budget planning and execution, and compliance. Our core values of excellence in reputation and dependability will be central to this role. As part of our proposal recruiting efforts, we are building a strong bench of Key Personnel who may be called upon to join the project upon award.
LOCATION
Fort Belvoir, VA (On-Site)
WHO YOU ARE
Previous experience directly supporting Defense Treat Reduction Agency (DTRA) highly
Education: Bachelor's Degree required (finance, accounting, business, or related field).
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in program management with cost, schedule, and performance responsibilities; experience in program office environments supporting system development, acquisition, or similar federal organizations.
Expertise: Financial management, budget execution, internal controls, enterprise risk management, federal program support, and team leadership.
Certification: PMP certification desired.
Clearance: Active Top Secret security clearance (TS/SCI )
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide senior-level leadership, oversight, and direction for program planning and execution
Supervise and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives under tight timelines
Manage program performance with accountability for cost, schedule, and deliverables
Oversee financial planning, resource allocation, and program execution reviews
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and audit requirements
Support development and monitoring of performance metrics, risk assessments, and corrective action planning
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align program objectives with organizational priorities
Provide senior-level reporting and presentations to leadership on program progress and outcomes
Drive process improvements and implement best practices in program and financial management
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the program team
