Position: Production Manager/Lead CNC Programmer
Pay:
$25 – $43+ per hour (DOE) Schedule:
Full-time (Optional 4x10s) Job Description
As our Production Manager and Engineer, you’ll lead and coordinate all aspects of machining operations—blending hands-on technical programming and strategic process improvement. Your responsibilities will include: Oversee daily CNC machining operations, including 3, 4, and 5-axis machines Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes for complex precision parts Collaborate with engineering to design fixtures, tooling, and process flows for efficiency and repeatability Ensure all production meets quality, safety, and delivery goals Programming & Technical Oversight Create and refine CNC programs using Mastercam and SolidWorks Guide setups and ensure optimal use of tooling, workholding, and machine capabilities Provide technical direction for complex jobs and support root cause analysis for issues Quality & Maintenance Ensure part quality through inspections using calipers, micrometers, and CMMs Interpret and apply GD&T and engineering drawings Maintain machine performance and manage preventative maintenance schedules What’s in It for You

10+ years of CNC machining and programming experience, with a strong engineering background Leadership experience in a production or machine shop environment Proficiency with Mastercam, SolidWorks, and G-code programming In-depth knowledge of tooling, materials, feeds/speeds, and high-precision machining Strong skills in process development, problem-solving, and technical communication Ability to read and apply engineering drawings and GD&T Preferred Experience
