Overview
The Mechanical Test Engineer II will work with the Peloton Hardware Design and Operations teams to lead our new product qualification testing and on-going reliability testing in a fast-growing global fitness business. You will contribute to projects, troubleshoot, innovate, and make decisions to help Peloton ensure quality and safety as we continue to innovate our product offerings. You are an individual who is independent, highly motivated, super organized, flexible and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment to improve product quality.
YOU DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
Help build and maintain test plans for new product development and sustaining engineering activities Perform product validation and verification with off-the-shelf testing equipment as well as custom built fixtures Design, build, and automate custom test rigs/fixtures to interact with various pieces of exercise equipment Supervise and implement test processes and data flow and create test reports Collaborate and correspond with onsite and offsite teams with test reports and status updates Provide technical support to technicians for various testing activities Ensure safety protocols are followed Maintain lab equipment and inventory Occasional morning/evening calls
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
Over 5 years relevant work experience Education and/or equivalent work experience in Mechanical Engineering Excellent communication skills National Instruments LabVIEW certification preferred (CLAD, CLD, CLA) 3D Modeling (Solidworks) Automation Skills (LabVIEW) PLC programming experience is a plus Ability to read/create mechanical drawings

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual base salary offered will depend on factors including experience and business objectives, and if the location changes. Our base salary is part of Peloton’s total rewards strategy that also includes region-specific health and welfare benefits.
