Job Overview:
A clinical supervisor assists with general supervision, direction, and support of the daily operations of a cardiology clinic in accordance with established policies, procedures, ensuring consistency, efficiency and high value care to our patients.
Responsibilities: Coordinates clinic activities and schedules personnel to ensure efficiency and quality service is delivered within all sections of the clinic. Provides workflow and support to the clinical staff, with identifying operational issues, and provides guidance for resolution. Works with individual clinic management and medical staff, to evaluate, monitor and enforce clinic specific protocols, procedures and objectives; maintains compliance with federal/state regulations and standards. Serves as the point of contact for patient and external customer complaints. Investigates and reconciles complaints relating to practice operations. Responsible for coordinating PTO, approving time sheets and providing clinic coverage as needed. Identifies and implements opportunities to build employee morale and individual motivation. Serves as a resource for EMR training and troubleshooting May also be responsible for directly evaluating and disciplining staff members. Addresses issues raised by physicians, employees, and patients and seeks out appropriate avenues for improvement. Monitors utilization of staff and supplies in assigned areas, and recommends appropriate adjustments to stay within budget guidelines while constantly improving the quality of health care. Monitors compliance with policies, implements plans and recommends revisions as needed. Monitors and maintains licensure certification requirements for assigned staff. Supervises day-to-day clinic operations in the absence of the practice manager. Performs other duties as assigned. May travel to other CLS Health clinics as needed. Benefits:

Associate's (Bachelor's preferred) degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or a related field required. 5+ years in the healthcare field, with an emphasis in clinic operations or staff training and development Knowledge of and skills with tools used in Healthcare Operations: eClinicalWorks
