(New York State Immunization Information System), with a focus on: Onboarding providers to the New York State Implementation Guide for HL7 v2.5.1 Immunization Messages Verifying compliance with ONC Meaningful Use requirements Enhancing interoperability between NYSIIS and electronic health record (EHR) systems used by providers across New York State Maintaining and updating ACCESS programs Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret HL7 immunization message data Perform data quality reviews and validation of immunization messages Provide technical guidance and onboarding support to provider organizations Maintain and enhance ACCESS programs for data reporting Work with SQL queries using SQL TOAD for data analysis and reporting Ensure compliance with ONC Meaningful Use standards Support interoperability efforts between NYSIIS and external EHR systems Communicate regularly with healthcare providers to support onboarding and troubleshooting Mandatory Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field from an accredited institution 60 months experience in SQL/SQL TOAD 60 months experience using Microsoft Excel 60 months experience with messaging standards such as XML, X12, etc. 60 months experience with HL7 messaging in support of a state immunization information system 60 months experience performing data quality analysis related to immunization data 60 months experience providing customer support or guidance in a technical or clinical setting Preferred Qualifications: 84 months experience with HL7 messaging in support of a state immunization information system 84 months experience in SQL/SQL TOAD 60 months experience communicating directly with healthcare providers
