Compensation
Salary Range: $23.74 - $35.78 / hour The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Position Overview: The Medical Assistant, Case Management/Utilization Review will be responsible for daily support of the Case Management/Utilization Review staff. The Medical Assistant must demonstrate the ability to work within a team setting with respect and ownership for professional practice and maintain excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills. Additionally, the Medical Assistant, Case Management/Utilization Review will show a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding procedures, reference tools and appropriate clinical pharmacology for medical assistant practice scope in order to be supportive of patients and their needs post discharge.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Medical Assistant Diploma or certificate of completion from a medical assistant training program Two (2) years of Medical Assistant experience One (1) year of experience in using electronic medical health care record systems Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in English and Spanish Associate Degree
