The Project Manager will lead and oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals, timelines, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation, manufacturing, or capital projects and possess exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This role requires direct engagement with customers, cross-functional teams, and vendors to ensure project success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, execute, and manage projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, managing expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Coordinate efforts of cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, purchasing, and production, to meet project objectives.

Oversee project risk management, contract changes, subcontracted vendors, and financial aspects, including payments and change orders.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Provide technical leadership, sub vendor management, and on-site project management support during engineering, installation, startup, and commissioning as needed.

Collaborate closely with internal engineering leaders and provide basic levels of project engineering support, particularly with sub vendors, during heavy design phases of projects.

Lead and mentor project team members, fostering collaboration and efficiency.

Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field required.

Over 3 years of experience in project management within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial equipment automation strongly preferred.

Experience with capital projects, plant builds, OEM manufacturing, or large-scale industrial implementations required.

PMP certification or equivalent preferred.

Strong leadership, organizational, decision-making and verbal and written communication skills required.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar) required.

Advanced skills in MS Office and collaboration tools like Teams. SharePoint, etc. Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) preferred.

Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and motion control components preferred.

Ability to read mechanical drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, and electrical schematics preferred.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.

Familiarity with contract negotiation and vendor management strongly encouraged.

Successful experience in customer relationship management and project financial oversight preferred.
